My previous experience as an Accountant for a non-profit, health care, and
educational institutions as well as Public Accounting firms for the last 30 years is
very valuable in my career in real estate especially in dealing with people from all
walks of life. Working in these service industries prepared me to easily launch a
career in real estate where client services are the core of what this industry is all
My undergraduate degree in accounting and my graduate degree in business
administration (MBA) gave me the technical expertise to deal with marketing,
pricing, cost estimation, and accuracy of figures in closing real estate
It is also refreshing for my clients to know that I can be relied on for honesty,
truthfulness and integrity being a member of Real Estate Association
of Metropolitan Pittsburgh and National Association of Realtors. I am also a
Certified Public Accountant and used to be a member of the American
Association of Certified Public Accountant before my real estate career.
My community outreach and volunteer experiences will also help in my career as
a Realtor. I believe that to have a balanced life one should be involved in both
gainful employment and free contribution to the betterment of the community.
For the last 20 years, I was actively involved in community outreach through my
church on Plymouth Meeting, PA, Tannersville, PA and in Sparta, New Jersey,
visiting the sick, homebound, nursing home and hospital patients once a week.
Effective May 20, 2017 I was voted as a Board Member - Treasurer of Birthright of
My hobbies and interests include reading, playing tennis and handicrafts.
Reading is important in this business since we read and process important
documents from the start to close of real estate transactions. Not only we are
required to process documents but to read and understand the different rules and
regulations related to real estate.
I have been married for 41 years to my husband Jose, a career
Biostatistician/University professor and also a part-time realtor. We have a fun-loving son who is a Marketing graduate and currently working in the airline industry in Pittsburgh.
Contrary to media reports, home values in Pittsburgh are steady - far above the national average. In fact, locally our average sales price has increased over last year. If your are thinking of selling your home there is really no better time and no better place than Western Pennsylvania.
We would be happy to show you what your home is worth in today's market.
